It’s been a little crazy here the last few weeks. Seems I have a little problem with my eye called posterior vitreous detachment. It’s nothing to serious, unfortunately it’s irritating so I haven’t been stamping much. Last weekend, my daughter and grandson went with me up to Ottawa, Canada to visit family. We had a great time but as usual we can never fit in everything we’d like to do.
Today’s card uses the set Very Versailles. It is a beautiful set and I just can’t get enough of it. As well as being beautiful, the font is very elegant, this set would work for thank you, sympathy, get well and even a birthday. Can you tell I really, really love this stamp set.
The first thing I did was to cut a panel of whisper white cardstock and stamped the background writing in gray granite, then over that the branch in mossy meadow ink. I mounted that on a sllightly larger panel of mossy meadow. Pool party is the base, and I first stamped the little boarder stamp with the awesome new silvery shimmer delicata stamp pad. Before adhering the main panel, I wrapped the silver thread around a few times. The sentiment strip was stamped in grey granite with the stamparatus moving it one hinge at a time. It was popped up with dimensionals, a few rhinestones later and another card was completed. Hope you like.
